One day, while washing up in my kitchen, I felt reluctant to put my fragile porcelain and glass straight into the stainless steel sink. I also noticed that the sink's shape wasn´t flexible. I came up with the idea of a washing-up bowl that should adapt its shape to whatever object is laying in it. The result was a washing-up bowl made out of rubber. Rubber allows the bowl to adopt its shape to the content as well as function as a soft cushion compared to steel. Furthermore, the rubber material makes it easy to store.

The Washing-up bowl is used as a wine cooler in the restaurant at MoMA in New York, for toys in kids rooms and even in a spa bath at a 5 star hotel in Bangkok.
